Carolina Home Exteriors has been serving eastern NC for 30 years with quality home improvement products.  Based in New Bern, NC and previously known as Exterior Metals, the company was purchased by its current owners, David Thereault and Bob Lee, in 2001 and was given its current name, which more accurately encompasses the wide variety of products offered.  In 2003, a branch was opened in Murrells Inlet, SC which is now Carolina Home Exteriors of Myrtle Beach.  Both locations operate under state contractor licenses and both are fully insured. 

Not only surviving but constantly growing over those 30 years, CHE has progressed with the industry and product family in which it operates.  As the demand for more energy efficient windows, doors and other exterior products increased and the sometimes violent coastal weather ushered in new and stricter building codes, CHE responded by adding to and adapting its existing product offerings to meet these needs.  Originally a dealer of aluminum siding and windows, the company now offers custom built sunrooms, screen rooms, room additions, patio covers and swimming pool enclosures.  We also offer a complete line of premium energy-efficient vinyl windows, doors and vinyl siding for the replacement and new construction markets.  The most recent additions are our “green” products, including solar skylights, solar attic fans and solar hot water systems, and we will continue to keep up to date with new technology so that we can offer the very best in home improvement products to our ever-growing customer base.
